I did a mini shoot with Francesca last month, and we had to get some family pics in for the Christmas card. Yesterday was beyond freezing but they were troopers…everyone but me that is. I am such a baby in the cold. Even though Francesca’s hands were frozen solid, she was still smiling and giggling the whole time.

I used to work with Jimmer, and Angie and I went to school together through high school. These two have matching, genuine smiles and laughs and even though it is cliche, they are perfect for each other. Congratulations A and J, it is already apparent how happy you are.
She is 9 1/2 months old already. Time is going by too fast. Here are some pictures from today.
I attended ROOTS workshop with the lovely ladies of Gingeroots today. I learned a ton about posing and angles etc. Thanks Gina and Lindsey!

I attended an amazing wedding yesterday both as a guest and as the photographer. Kasey is my sister’s best childhood friend and our families grew up together just a block apart. This is my first wedding as the main photographer. Patrick was kind enough to come along as my second shooter and he got some great shots as well. I have so much to go through it is ridiculous, so expect a few more posts from this wedding soon.
Kasey had a custom Lea-Ann Belter dress and she looked absolutely stunning in it.
The bridal party got ready at the house that Kasey grew up in and then walked to the church the same way Kasey used to walk to school everyday.
I shot Kim and Barry’s wedding with Darrin from JDB photography this past weekend. I love it when a bride and groom are willing to see each other before the wedding. Not only do you get great “first look” images but it leaves the rest of the time after the ceremony to just enjoy the evening.
Here are my favorites from the day, click over to Darrin’s Blog to see his.
and finally, It is hard for me to have a post without an image of a cute baby….
Patrick is pretty darn good. Here is one he shot. (choosing the camera settings on his own)
